Mrs. Stephenson's Class Syllabus

In order for students to be promoted to 3rd grade they must be reading on grade level (D.R.A. level 28) by the end of 2nd grade. Students at risk of failure will receive remedial instruction in order to assist them in meeting the state reading objectives.

READING-          Monday thru Thursday
                          Friday- Assess comprehension
                          over weekly story.

MATH                Monday thru Thursday
                                     Saxon Math- Lesson Part B
                          Assessment every fifth lesson
                          School Wide Problem Solving Lesson
                          Tuesday & Wednesday

SPELLING         Monday thru Thursday-
                          Lesson assigned 
                          1)Write words 5 times each
                          2)Trial test Thursday
                                                    (90 or above do not take
                                            Friday test)
                          3)Post test Friday
